Executive General Manager, Production Solutions
Olawale Salu is the Executive General Manager, Production Solutions for West Titan Energy responsible for new business acquisition, new business models/process deployment, contract and promise assurance for a range of service offerings under the EPC Production Solutions. He has over 25 years’ Oil and Gas experience in facilities engineering, operations technical support/management, design engineering management, project management and development planning.
Wale worked for Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (ExxonMobil’s Nigerian affiliate) in various technical and management capacities as Facility Engineer, Facilities Engineering Team Supervisor, Asset Team Coordinator and Senior Production Supervisor for over 12 years. With the vast technical experience gained from Mobil, he moved to Amazon Energy Limited, an indigenous Oil and Gas engineering and technical services provider, where he served as Design Engineering Manager and Project General Manager. He was responsible for providing oversights to a multi-cultural/multi-disciplinary technical team and successfully delivered world-class engineering projects for the Nigerian Oil and Gas sector.
He joined Oando Energy Resources in 2011 where he served for 7 years as Project Planning and Control Manager, (Akepo Asset), Technical and Operational Excellence Manager and later rose to become the Head of Surface Facilities and Infrastructure.
Prior to joining West Titan Energy, Wale worked for a year with Nigerdock FZE as an Executive General Manager, Fabrication and Production Solutions in charge of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), Fabrication and Production Solutions as well as new business acquisition.
He holds a BSc. Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri and a member of several professional bodies and associations which include the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
