Ivor Ellul

Ivor Ellul is an accomplished Oil and Gas Industry Executive with over 35 years’ experience in various executive positions in the upstream area of the Oil and Gas Industry.
He is the Founder and Managing Director of CiSK Ventures, a consulting company delivering expertise to energy companies in the areas of Collaboration, Innovation, Solutions, and Knowledge. He also founded Knowledge Reservoir, a Houston, Texas-based firm providing expertise in Oil and Gas Exploration and Production, Management Consulting, and Pipeline Simulation. He served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer until its merger with RPS in 2013.
Ivor devotes his time to leveraging his extensive industry background to bring a high level of expertise to his Clients. He is a visiting Professor in the department of Petroleum Engineering at the prestigious Imperial College London. He is also a past member of the advisory board of the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering of the University of Houston.
Outside of his professional life, Ivor has committed himself to service activities promoting education within communities that have needs. He has helped provide homes for senior citizens, sponsored orphanages, and volunteered to teach children with the Sisters of Charity in Palermo, Sicily.
Ivor holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Malta and MS and PhD degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London. He is a registered Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom and a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
